Privacy Policy
Color Factory is a local-first color app for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what happens to information you use in the app.
What stays on your device
Photos are processed on-device to create color palettes. Imported photos, saved palettes, and app preferences are stored in the app’s local data on your device. Color Factory does not upload this content to Little Treat or a third-party server. There is no in-app cloud sync; device backups are managed separately through your device settings.
Sharing and contacting support
When you choose to export palette text or share an Art Scene image, you choose where to send or save it using the system controls. The app or service you select handles that shared content under its own privacy practices.
If you email support, your email address and the information you choose to include are received as part of that correspondence. Please avoid sending private photos, payment information, or other sensitive data.
No account or tracking
You do not need an account to use Color Factory. The app does not include analytics, advertising, tracking technologies, cookies, or sale of personal information. There is no community or public gallery.
Purchases
Optional lifetime purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Little Treat does not receive or store your payment-card information. Apple may process purchase and transaction information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual imported photos from the Photos tab. Deleting a photo also deletes its locally stored extracted palette and image file. You can delete saved palettes from the Palettes tab.
To delete Color Factory’s data from your device, delete the app rather than offloading it. Separately retained device backups and files you exported are managed outside the app. Restoring an Apple purchase restores access, not deleted photos or palettes.
Children
Color Factory does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Policy changes
If this policy changes, the updated version and effective date will be posted on this page. Changes will describe the new practice in plain language.
