A little help
Support
Color Pantry keeps its data on your device. Here are answers to common questions.
How do I import a photo?
Open the Photos tab, tap Import Photos, and choose one or more images from the photo picker. Color Pantry creates a local copy for the imported-photo library and extracts a palette on-device.
What palette sizes are supported?
Photo extraction supports 2 through 10 colors. You can choose the default size in Settings and change the size on an imported photo’s detail screen. A photo may yield fewer distinct colors if its image does not contain enough readable color variation.
Can I import colors from text?
Yes. The Palettes tab supports strict HEX, RGB/RGBA, HSB/HSV, HSL, and CMYK notation. Use one color per line; simple HEX values may also be comma-separated. JSON and CSS documents are not supported.
What are Palette Recipes?
Recipes let you assign roles such as Background, Surface, Primary, Accent, and Text, then set proportions for the colors. You can experiment with previews and view WCAG contrast checks. Saving a recipe and sharing its recipe-card image require Lifetime Access.
What does the lifetime purchase include?
Lifetime Access includes unlimited saved palettes, premium harmonies, saving Palette Recipes, and recipe-card sharing/export. Creating palettes, basic formats, basic harmonies, and recipe experimentation remain free. There is no subscription.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Settings or a locked feature, then tap Restore Purchases. Make sure the device is signed in to the Apple Account that made the purchase. StoreKit asks Apple to confirm the entitlement; Color Pantry does not receive your payment-card information.
How do I delete my data?
Delete an imported photo from the Photos tab to remove its local image and extracted colors. Delete saved palettes from the Palettes tab. To remove all local Color Pantry data, delete the app from your device. Purchases can still be restored through Apple.
